Her Boba: Reviews & Ratings
Came here and tried the special matcha with taro and it was delicious. It's not too sweet and they use real ingredients like Taro paste versus taro powder. I'll definitely be back!
This is a hidden gem in NYC! I live how this boba place is run by a local woman and not by a chain. The boba was delicious and she was very nice. I 100% recommend this place to any and all tea lovers!
My lychee green tea with tapioca was refreshing and delicious. The staff member was patient answering my questions on the drinks; he also made my drink quick. This clean little shop is quite an oasis in busy Midtown. Highly recommended! Will definitely come back!
Very lowkey boba shop in Hell's Kitchen NYC. I first came on Friday around 12:30 PM-1:00 PM, but they weren't open yet. I came back around 4:00 PM on Saturday and they were open. Their hours are very vague and I wish they were official. I called them and they said they basically open/close whenever LOL The ordering process is easy. There is a kiosk where you place your order and wait for your drinks. I had the jasmine milk tea with boba. It had a strong jasmine flavor with creamy texture. The boba had great chew and was sweet. The shop itself is small but its super cute for lots of photo ops. I would give it 5 star but they need to set hours!
TLDR: really liked this shop, the boba takes a little longer to prepare than a standard chain boba store, but the quality is so worth it! Matcha Jasmine Milk Tea: 10/10 - really liked the creaminess of the matcha and the person working recommended to drink it not mixed to taste both the matcha and the jasmine separately. One thing to note was the matcha was not that strong, but had it been any stronger the jasmine would’ve been unable to be tasted Lychee Green Tea: 9/10 - lychee tastes very delicate as in doesn’t taste processed and has a very fresh taste *It seems like they make all their syrups and such in house, hence the fresh taste
Okay, guys, I honestly didn’t expect it — the drinks here are AMAZING. I randomly spotted this place because it’s pretty easy to miss if you’re not paying attention, but wow, the drinks blew me away! And the cherry on top? The cutest dog ever — such a sweet little creature. I literally keep coming back. Big John is now my best friend — super friendly and always makes me the most delicious boba ever! Shout out to Big John, the best staff member!
Hidden gem you must try! I had the most delicious Matcha Taro bubble tea. Fresh ingredients, no processed or added sugar. Owner was kind and super friendly. 10/10 would recommend. Their tacos made with a soft sweet plantain look amazing, will try next time I go back.
Small boba shop but tastes really great. I got Thai tea and it wasn’t too sweet or milky. There was only one person working there so it took a while to get the drinks but would still recommend!
